The only BCAPL rules that ESPL divisions do not follow in local play are BCAPL rules 1.30 Push Shot and 1.31 Double Hit Foul.  These rules require a referee to watch the shots and decide whether a foul has occurred.  Even then, in play at the national tournament, referees often contradict each other as to whether a foul has occurred.

ESPL has adopted a number of bylaws. The general bylaws apply to all divisions.  Please read the bylaws which apply to the division in which you play as well as the Official Rules of the BCA Pool League.  Remember what the nice policeman would tell you, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse".
